Ethan & Vanessa

Ethan and Vanessa grew up as neighbors and it was Ethan’s sister, Jessica, who always saw the potential in their great love to come. Jessica knew her best friend and her brother could make each other happy and in her speech on their wedding night said that she had to stop trying to force it and the moment she did, they figured it out for themselves!

After seeing Ethan and Vanessa together, it is hard for me to imagine how anyone could not see how perfect they are for each other. They are laid back, love to hike, and there is just this sense of genuine honesty between them. It is even a little bit difficult for me to explain what I mean, but they just seem 100% themselves with one another. They are at home with each other.

They said, “I do” in Duncan Memorial Chapel and when you see this place… you will not believe it is in Kentucky AND it is only 80 years old. It is an absolutely beautiful church located outside of Louisville.  After the ceremony, we headed off to the waterfront for some epic photos! That bridge… yeah Vanessa WALKED up to it in heels and a wedding dress. In my book… that makes her a warrior princess. And then on to the Bourbon Barrel Loft in downtown Louisville for dancing and cake.

Ethan and Vanessa, I know you are going to have so many awesome adventures together! We are so glad we got to be part of your day and cannot thank you and your families enough for the incredible kindness that you showed to us the entire time. Looking forward to hiking with you!!!
