We fell in love with Nathan & Melissa at their consult. We somehow got on the conversation of food (which shouldn’t surprise anyone) and Melissa immediately mentioned Moe Mondays… which is my FAVORITE. Nathan loves to build things and spend time outdoors so I think Nick was equally as smitten;)
To celebrate their engagement, we started off in downtown Lexington and lucked out with the most perfect weather. The flowers were in bloom and the sun was shining so we got to use a few new spots I had not utilized yet downtown. I loved their willingness to trust me with portrait locations! We added in a few locations special to them like McCarthys and The Lexington Opera House which featured their own names on the marquee!
Last but not least, we headed to the Distillery District which is one of their favorite areas of town. We took photos together as the sun set and you cannot bring me that close to pizza and expect me NOT to grab dinner. The four of us got to sit down and enjoy pizza and cocktails together to finish out a wonderful night! We cannot WAIT to celebrate Nathan & Melissa getting married on New Year’s Eve at The Carrick House!
