In the beautiful historic locations of Georgetown, Kentucky, Aaron and Mikaela said I do at Georgetown Baptist Church and celebrated at The Cardome Renaissance Center.

As a photographer, our goal is to capture the emotion and the beauty of the day. I want to come right out and say I failed at this in one way. These pictures do not compare to seeing the way Aaron looks at Mikaela in person. After their first look, Mikaela paused to tell me something and while she was talking, I could see Aaron just looking at her and smiling with all the adoration in the world. I even stopped to mention it. Their ceremony was performed by the church pastor who knows Mikaela very well, and during their wedding itself, the pastor also paused to comment on the way Aaron looked at Mikaela and how his love is exactly what they had hoped for her.

Surrounded by friends and laughter, it was a beautiful day. Mikaela had not one, not two, but THREE beautiful pairs of shoes to wear throughout the day AND a complete wardrobe change for the ceremony. Her stunning wedding dress was originally a classic satin beauty with a sweetheart neckline but Mikaela had vision to make it more her own. Working with a talented seamstress, she was able to add off-the-shoulder sleeves and a stunning bow to the back of the dress. I could not imagine the dress without these alterations because they came together so perfectly.

Selfishly, Mikaela & Aaron are a dream couple for me because they made SO much time in their day for photos! We were never rushed for our original set of portraits after the first look and we got to enjoy a bonus round of sunset portraits in her new outfit to celebrate them officially being husband and wife.
