Hi, there! We are Nick and Michelle and our home base is in Lexington, Kentucky. Saying we are goofy would be an understatement, but we are serious about creating beautiful images of your wedding day. I met Nick one summer while working at a pool.
It may not sound like much now, but we are two years apart in age. When we went back to school after that summer, I was a sophomore in college and Nick was a senior in high school. Now that is a BIG two years. I broke up with Nick and he told me I was making a huge mistake.
We stayed friends for years and eventually found each other again as partners. We live in Kentucky with our two dogs and our kitty cat. As much as I hate to admit it, I actually picked up a camera for the first time to get Nick to think I was cool!! Technically, it worked.
Getting to be around people in love with the person I love is just an incredible way to go through life. We are thankful to every couple who has trusted us with their big day and hope we can earn your trust too!

Engagement photos are a BLAST. We will teach you everything you need to know and that will help up get great photos on your wedding day. Our favorite part is our couples telling us how much fun they had after our session. The days of awkward, stiff poses are over! We are going to have a great time!

We send all of our couples a wedding day questionnaire to help you think through the details of your day like timeline, family photo groupings, and contact info for your vendors. We offer complimentary timeline consultation help as well. We will help you plan a day that will result in the wedding photos you have dreamed of.

Today is going to go QUICKLY. We do our best to make sure you get slower moments to really enjoy time together and with your guests. Most of all, we will make sure you have images to help you remember this day for years to come.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery . At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums. We love to have couples back in the studio to design their albums and order prints. Design services are complimentary!

What could possibly be a better investment for your home than a high-quality item filled with memories from one of your favorite days?
This is the goal for your wedding images. Yes, you will have all the digitals. You will have a blast sharing them. The truth is in 25 years... you will have a hard time remembering where those digital files are. Do you remember where your files are from 10 years ago?
Albums are what stand the test of time. They take photographs and turn them into heirlooms. The albums we provide are guaranteed for like so even future generations can enjoy them. We take all of the hard work out of it by providing the intitial design, working with you to quickly and easily make any changes you would like to see, providing in-person samples of different paper and cover options, and making sure it gets delivered to you.
There are many choices couples have to make for their wedding day and I know we may be a little biased, but ensuring you have the perfect album is NOT a step to skip!

After we deliver your gallery, we'll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
We take all the work out of it for you! We will set up a meeting (in person or on zoom) and during that one meeting, we will make all the decisions about your album! It is SO easy, fun, and the best part... not a million emails back and forth!
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day up to 2 years. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

CAN I CHANGE MY COLLECTION LATER?

We shoot on dual-slot cameras which means at any time during your wedding day, 4 totally separete memory cards are recording your special day!

ARE MY PHOTOS SAFE?

We require your deposit AND signed contract to reserve your date. Typically, we send this after we have had a chance to chat. Email us if you have questions!

ARE ALL COUPLES WELCOME?
Your engagement session is a chance to try us out without any pressure. We do not put a time limit on our engagement session because the goal is to make great images together. For some couples, we luck out and that happens right away. For others, we have to warm up a bit before we start finding the magic.
The best part is we get to spend time with you! Your wedding day will be filled by the people who know you the very best... and us! We want to get to know you as much as possible before the big day so we understand how to support you best.

Southern Living named this town one of the best in the south! It has the cutest boardwalk and an amazing coast!
NASHVILLE
Not too far from our homebase in KY, Nashville is a great city for beautiful city scapes, historical buildings, and a whole lot of great food!
St. Louis
Full transparency: Michelle's best friend lives in St. Louis so we EXTRA love getting to travel there for an engagement session!
New York City
This might be our very favorite place to visit for photos! We go to NYC several times a year and LOVE going on an adventure in the city with our clients!
Ft. Lauderdale
Or anywhere with a beach! Sunsets on the coast might be one of our all time favorite places to photograph a session. Fun fact: this bride got stung by a jelly fish BUT we got the shot!
Not a fan of the ocean? Not to worry, we are happy to go anywhere warm and wonderful! Orlando has a wide variety of options for beautiful scenery. Bonus: we can all have an excuse to go to Disney!

Lexington is our home base so we know all the best spots! Finishing out on a rooftop for sunset is one our favorites ways to celebrate a successful session!
