Kaitlan and I met a few years at an aerial silks class at Bella Forza here in Lexington. Typically, the idea of a predominantly female gym would have been a NO GO for me, but this particular gym has lots of gems like Kaitlan that make is such a fun and encouraging community of women. She is easy going, loves cats, and has the cutest daughter!! I got do to a fall mini session with Kaitlan, her daughter Harper, and her fiancé Andy a few weeks and her little girl might be the most photogenic child of all time. And don’t even get me started on how much I love their cats.
One week after our fall mini session, it is was time for engagement photos!! This time it was just Kaitlan and Andy and we were all excited to celebrate their love. We started out with some photos under incredible evergreens and then moved out to an open field. After that, we headed back for a quick wardrobe change and then up to a rooftop to get some Lexington love captured in their photos.
THAT DRESS!!! Kaitlan had told me that she was getting an extra special dress from Rent The Runway. Ordering clothing off the internet has always been hit or miss for me because sizes can be so difficult to predict. Ladies… this is the way to go. You get two sizes when you rent a dress to make extra sure it fits just right. This golden flower dress highlighted all of Kaitlan’s beauty and they both looked like rockstars for our rooftop shoot.
I am so thankful to be a little part of Kaitlan and Andy’s story and I cannot wait for their wedding next year!!!
